completely separate structure that is attached your existing
A pergola - Is typically a free standing feature that is not connected to the house. Often you will see these built above an outdoor paved or decked area to provide shade.Next to a pool is also an idea spot for a pergola. Flat or Skillion
These are quick to install. Typically they are built directly from the roof edge and then use two support posts to hold a flat roof. The roof can have a slight pitch to it.
These are also a flat style roof but they sit above your
existing roof line and have a pitch. They offer greater ceiling height and airflow. They also bring an architectural design element to a home.
Gabled or Pitched
Open sides and peaked roofs create a more airy and spacious feel. They are the ideal roof design to have ceiling fans installed to create the airflow we all desire in the humid summer months.
This is a popular option of having a gabled or pitched section and a flat style roof section
Newer roof designs can now have a ceiling effect. This is a great way to have lighting and fans installed with a super neat finish
